Why we built it

AI is brilliant, but it doesn't know your business.

We watched our own teams — and our customers — re-explain the same decisions, customers, and policies to AI tools over and over. The context lived in inboxes, docs, chats, and someone's head. Never in one place every tool could reach.
Kumbukum is that place. One open library for everything your team learns. Every AI tool you use — Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, anything that speaks MCP — works from the same source of truth your team does. No black box. No vendor lock. No starting from zero.

A small team. Two decades shipping software people use.

Kumbukum is built by the team behind Helpmonks Labs — a small group of founders and engineers who have been shipping tools for support, marketing, and asset management since 2007. We use Kumbukum every day to run our own work.
