Agreement

By using Kumbukum ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Kumbukum provides a persistent memory layer for AI tools via the MCP protocol. You can store, retrieve, and manage notes and memories through our app and API.

Your account

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Your data

You own your data. Everything you store in Kumbukum belongs to you. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content.

  • We do not use your data to train AI models.
  • We do not scan, read, mine, or analyze your content for any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

You grant us only the limited right to store and serve your data back to you as part of operating the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
  • Abuse the API in a way that degrades the Service for others (e.g., excessive automated requests beyond reasonable use).
  • Store content that violates applicable laws.

Service availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime or data loss beyond what is within our reasonable control.

Payment and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or as a one-time lifetime payment, as selected at purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds for monthly plans are not provided for partial months. Lifetime plans are non-refundable after 30 days.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kumbukum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
